LA STORIA:
La Gioventù Giallorossa Messina nasce nel 1980 collocandosi in gradinata rivoluzionando completamente il modo di fare tifo in questa città. Fino a quel momento, infatti, il sostegno alla squadra veniva fornito dal battito dei tamburi e dal semplicissimo "MESSINA MESSINA" intonato dai pochi club esistenti. Con noi il tifo prende colore con i primi fumogeni, coriandoli e strisce e si sentono i primi cori. Con la ristrutturazione ed ampliamento del "Celeste" ci trasferiamo in curva sud, attuale tempio del tifo messinese, affiancadoci all'Uragano Cep, già presente in questo settore. In curva la crescita del gruppo è rapida, favorita anche da una squadra che attraversa una serie di annate positive. Il club a cavallo del 1986-87 raggiunge probabilmente il massimo splendore raggiungendo la quota dei 2000 iscritti ed aprendo le seguenti sezioni: Roma, Milano, Villa San Giovanni (RC), girls alle quali si aggiungerà in seguito la sezione di Torino. Negli anni successivi inizierà un lento calo della squadra che ci porterà nel baratro del CND, incubo che purtroppo durerà diversi anni e dal quale solo quest'anno siamo riusciti a venirne fuori. In questi anni chiaramente ci siamo ridotti all'osso come numero, ma non abbiamo mollato mai! Il premio è venuto dalla nuova dirigenza di messinesi che ci ha riportato in C2 (che noi speriamo sia solo l'inizio). Chiaramente dall'avvento della nuova dirigenza il gruppo è nuovamente cresciuto ritornando grande avviandosi così a festeggiare al meglio il ventennale, tappa importantissima per noi!
 
OUR HISTORY
The "Gioventu' Giallorossa Messina" was born in 1980 on the stands of "Giovanni Celeste", the Messina football stadium. We revolutionized the way of supporting our football team. Up to 1980 "Messina Football Club" supporters used to beat drums and only few shouted "Messina Messina !". But we "Gioventu' Giallorossa" fans have changed the traditional "philosophy"! .We are fanciful and lively, bringing smoke candles, confetti, fancy large stripes and sing all together. In our restored football ground "Giovanni Celeste" we are in the "Curva Sud" (South Curve), the very temple of the present messinesi supporters, standing by "Uragano Cep", a club already present in this sector of the stadium. Here the group grows rapidily, powing to the latest positive results of our team. Between 1986 and 1987 our club reached the maximum of the members, openig the following centres: Roma, Milano, Villa San Giovanni (RC), Torino and also a ladies centre. Along the following years "Messina Football Club" team had a slow but constant decline, falling into the "Ravine of CND (5° division), a nightmare many years long; but this year we have come off from it. Now we are in C2 (4° division ) the first step to the … 1° division ! It is legitimate to nourish a hope and drink a toast with the new managers to the overcoming twentieth anniversary of our club, a very important ( and, we hope, successful) step of our story.
