Dal Corriere dello Sport: Addirittura commovente è stato l'abbraccio tra il campione e la Curva Sud appena spedito in rete il pallone del 2-0, della qualificazione ai quarti, del volo suggestivo verso le vette del calcio europeo.
"avrei potuto cercare l'abbraccio anche delle tribune - spiega Falcao - ma ho preferito correre verso i tifosi della Curva Sud un po' perché avevo segnato proprio sotto i loro occhi, ma sono corso da loro soprattutto perché costituiscono il simbolo e l'anima del tifo giallorosso, della passione popolare verso la Roma. Dopo il gol noi giocatori corriamo quasi sempre verso i tifosi della Curva Sud perché per la Roma danno il cuore sopportando ogni disagio, compreso il fatto che da quella posizione si vede male la partita"
